Target audience research for our initial idea

For our film we decided that we would each ask 3 people what they thought about our initial pitch, we asked them to provide information about their gender, age and what their favorite genre of film is. We also asked them to outline what they thought was effective about our pitch and what they felt needed a bit of improvement. Here is my target audience feedback from 3 people:

Person 1

Gender: Female

Age: 16

Genre of film: Romantic comedy

Good points: 'The location is an interesting idea because it creates a scary mood just thinking about where it is and how it will be set. The idea of having mannequins is unusual which i like because they aren't real and it arises questions such as, what are they doing there and why?'

Improvements: 'Getting mannequins will be really hard and expensive, especially because they are so big and will need transporting'

Person 2

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Genre of film: Horror

Good points: 'I really like the idea of the mannequins, they are weird and create a scary feeling. The idea for the blood is very well thought through and mean that the gory purpose can relate to us as your audience more, the way that you described everything moving slowly like the movement of the camera and the appearance of the blood is a brilliant idea because it creates a scary feel'

Improvements: 'Mannequins will be hard to find and it sounds like you are already struggling to get hold of any, if it was me, as much of a good idea that this is. I would probably re-think the idea and get something that would actually be achievable but still use some of the ideas!'

Person 3

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Genre of film: Action adventure

Good points: 'The idea of having a panning shot that slowly reveals the mannequins is good because it will create suspicion and tension for the audience. The real person sounds scary but good. The fact that the blood is coming from the mouth and chest but there are no weapons that have been described is effective and creepy.'

Improvements: 'Not much to be improved but i think that the blood being in the actor or actresses mouth and chest might be difficult because it might be hard to pump it out.'
