Analysing and adapting our idea - Mannequins

After we had a concept for the opening we started to research into where we could get some mannequins. We started in school and went round each department where we thought might have some, we looked in Drama, Art and RE but there was nothing that suited our ideas. We then decided to look up shops in our local shopping centre that may have mannequins we could borrow, On the phone I clearly stated that the mannequins could be old, broken or not in use and that we would only need to borrow them for a short amount of time. I rang Riverisland, New look, H&M, Next, M&S, Topshop, Republic, GAP, Pumpkin Patch, Dorothy Perkins, Oxfam, John Lewis, BHS, Forever 21, TKmaxx, UrbanOutfitters and Bicester village to speak to the customer services and enquire, there was no luck at all from all of the places I rang because they said that all were in use or could not be taken from the
store.

After thinking into the idea more in depth as a group and looking at our target audience research we decided that the idea seemed a little over ambitious because we did not have a suitable location or the right amount of money to get the mannequins and as we had no luck with this idea we decided to develop further and we kept some ideas about props, location, storyline and characters.
