Our idea - development of makeup

We decided that the main actress would have very pale and corpse like make up and would have a line round her face that looks as if it has been cut or lifted off and out and stitched back on. Hence why we wanted to name our film 'Facelift'. To do this we were going to use eyeliner which would create this effect meaning that it is easy to remove if it goes wrong. We are hoping for the make up to look scary and like she is possessed. Her hair will be slicked back looking greasy like she is dirty and has not washed in a while, this will add to the unusual part of the character.

The other actresses will have slightly less make up and look upset and worried as they have been abducted. They will also have very pale make up which will create a ghostly look and there hair will be messy, like they have been dragged out of bed

All make up will be exaggerated because it will need to show on the camera and all actresses will have fake blood to look although they have been beaten up and dragged around.

These two pictures are of the fake blood that i made and tested on myself to see if it looked effective. I also used the tutorial shown on my blog to make a bruised eye effect. This is what I later did on the main actress for our actual filming.
